The 3-D Mathematics Academy is in its 17th year of providing after school tutorial to members of the Praire View and Waller County area.

 

The program began in 1997 with some 18 students who needed that extra enrichment in school.

 

In addtion to the academic tutorials, the program provided the students with extra curricular activities to include chess, mathcounts, violin, ettiquette and other social graces. 

 

Many of the students have gone on to graduate from high school and college and are making a significant contribution to improve the quality of life for their respective communities.

 

The program is ran by Mrs. Madolyn Reed, retired teacher of HISD and Miss Pamelyn Reed, instructor and coordinator with Lone Star College in Cypress.
